Graduate Scholarships
The Auburn University at Montgomery Alumni Association recently awarded its annual Graduate Study Merit Scholarships to four outstanding AUM students. The scholarships require that recipients maintain a GPA of 3.4 or higher, enroll in and complete nine hours each semester and be continuously enrolled for each semester covered by the award.

2022-23 Graduate Merit Scholarships
The $1,000 scholarships, funded by alumni memberships, were awarded by the AUM Alumni Board of Directors to Evelina Avleeva, Margaret Dean, Marcus Robinson, and Olivia Shipp.
Evelina Avleeva
Aveleeva earned a bachelor’s degree in Sport Management in 2020 from Auburn University at Montgomery, and is currently pursuing a Master degree in the same field. After graduating, she plans to continue her learning with a Ph.D. in Hospitality Management and then becoming a college professor to teach other students about the importance of education.
Margaret Dean
Dean earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2021 from Auburn University at Montgomery, and is currently pursuing a Master degree in Psychology at AUM. Dean has a passion for psychology and helping others, and plans to become a therapist and counsel adolescents after she graduates.
Marcus Robinson
Robinson earned a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science in 2021 at Auburn University at Montgomery. He is currently pursuing a Master degree in the same field. After graduating, Robinson plans to become certified as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist to help others become the best version of themselves through exercise.
Olivia Shipp
Shipp earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2021 from AUM, and is currently pursuing a Master degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Auburn University at Montgomery. Her ultimate career goal is to become a counselor at AUM Counseling and Health Promotion Services, and give back a small portion of what the university has given her.
