Walking Order
Know Before You Go
Arrival
For the 10:00 a.m. ceremony, guests should arrive between 8:30-9:40 a.m.. For the 2:00 p.m. ceremony, guests should arrive between 12:45-1:40 p.m.
Plan to remain for the entire ceremony. It can be very distracting when guests leave during the ceremony. Please remain seated until the graduates have left the floor.
Phones and Cameras
Please turn off or silence cell phones. Do not make or receive calls during the ceremony. Camera equipment is prohibited in the aisles.
Seating
While there will not be any preceding seating reservations, there will be staff to assist with guest seating and wheelchair access seating.
Disability Needs
Guests who need wheelchair access should notify staff upon entry for direction to special seating. While there will not be any preceding seating reservations, there will be staff to assist with seating. If a graduate has a disability and requires assistance, he or she should contact the Registrars Office at 334-244-3125 or email registrar@aum.edu.
Photos and Video
Photos
The Grad Team is pleased to be the official graduation photographer for your ceremony. The Grad Team will take pictures of every graduate on the stage. There is NO FEE for this service and NO OBLIGATION TO ORDER. Free proofs will be sent by email about two weeks after the ceremony.
